High quality Starlink Installations
As the owner of a highly successful aerial and satellite installations company, I seen thousands of poorly installed systems over my 25 years. Having a sky or freesat dish fall from the roof or off a wall is not normally a major issue, it just costs the owner a hundred pounds or so to repair it. Unless it comes down on your or your neighbours new Mercedes.
A Starlink dish weighs almost 12 lbs or just over 5kg. That will cause a LOT bit of damage if it lands on anything not to mention writing off over £450 worth of dish.
A lot of Starlink customers will attempt to install the Starlink dish themselves by putting it in the garden which is fine until the cable gets cut by the lawn mover or garden shears which is something i have seen and repaired a ton of times in my 26 years of installing tv aerials. A big issue here is that the cable is a sealed entity coming from inside the dish and only has one end so damaging it would be a big problem
Putting the Starlink dish in the garden is open to theft or damage, criminal or otherwise. With our professional Starlink installation we ensure that the dish is simply not accessible for this to be a problem.
For those customers in built up areas or have trees and other obstructions who cannot place it at ground level we offer a professional installation service whereby we install galvanised brackets to the brickwork and a 6-8' heavy duty galvanised mast and this enables the dish to sit above the gutter or chimney and get total coverage.
We supply both galvanised and black brackets and poles. Our poles have been specially made to do away with the need to use any type of adapter.
For most consumers, they want to see a tidy cable run. It is important for aesthetic and practical purposes to ensure the Starlink cable is put in without damaging it or hitting it with a hammer. On brickwork we use special clips avoiding the need to risk hitting the cable with the hammer.
The Point of Access where the cable enters the house is another reason to make sure of a proper installation. There are a number of ways and tricks to avoid serious damage to brickwork. We use face plates of varying types to hide the cable where is goes through the wall, both inside and outside.
Installation costs to install a Starlink Dish
A full installation will cost from £168 up to £360 including VAT depending on the complexities of the installation.
We also offer a one off fee of £240 and that includes the site survey and is guaranteed to be fully installed regardless of how easy or difficult the installation is. This offer is only for domestic properties.
At this moment in time we do not offer the ability to extend the cable any further than the 100ft that comes with the dish.
Every Starlink dish installation we carry out is bespoke to us regardless as to the property being a housing association home or Buckingham Palace. Our engineers wear over boots in the house, they clean up the mess after drilling and we pick up our rubbish.
We discuss and plan every install alongside the customer. It is your house and as the saying goes " two heads are better than one ". We will listen to and consider every bit of input the customer has. My ethos is a very professional service and customer satisfaction.
Commercial Starlink Installations
We would need to do a site visit on commercial properties which is £78 including VAT.
We install Starlink dishes in domestic homes, offices, warehouses, factories, shops, hospitals, dental surgeries, doctors surgeries, hotels, farms, military bases ( The two main owners of the company are ex military) static caravans, bed and breakfasts, schools and universities. And if its not on this list please get in touch as we would be more than happy to add another category.
